With Video: "Hatha El Zaman" is the only Egyptian film in "Your Film Festival".

Director Ramy El Gabry has the only Egyptian Short Film "Hatha El Zaman – This Time" that is participating in "Your Film Festival" competition that was initiated by You Tube as part of the Venice International Film Festival. The competition is based on public voting to find the world's best storyteller. The jury committee includes director Ridley Scott and actor Michael Fassbender. The film competed with 15,000 films and was promoted to the semi-finals with 50 films where only 10 will reach the finals that will be screened at the Venice Festivals. The winner will receive $500,000 to produce a new film. "Hatha El Zaman" stars Awatef Helmy and Abdallah El Nahhas and is about an old lady that her son tries to get rid of her by leaving her alone in the street. The film is produced by the General Authority for Culture Palaces.
