"1/2 Thawra" has its first commercial screening in London.

Directed by Omar Sharawy and Karim El Hakim; the documentary "1/2 Thawra – 1/2 a Revolution" is the first film that considers the Egyptian revolution incomplete even thought it was made during the first nine days after 25 Jan. This makes this documentary related to the current political events in Egypt and the continuous demands to complete the revolution and achieve its goals."1/2 Thawra" has participated in many film festivals like the Belfast International Film Festival for Documentaries as part of the Miles Bros. Competition, the Sheffield International Festival, Silverdocs Discovery Channel Documentary Festival and Democracine International Film Festival in Brazil.The film will have its first commercial screening in London on 4 July at the same time of participating in the East End Film Festival. "1/2 Thawra" will also participate in the 15th Ismailia International Film Festival in the main competition and in the revolution films competition.
