The organizing committee of the Arab Film Festival that is taking place in Australia between 28 June and 15 July, have chosen the Palestinian film "Habibi Rasak Kharban – Honey, your brain is messed up" to be screened at the opening night which will also include the Arab Andalusia Orchestra.The film is a modern adaptation of the classic Qais and Laila and is the first long feature film to be shot in Ghaza since 15 years. It is directed by Suzan Youssef and stars Maisaa Abdel Hadi and Qais Nashef and was awarded the Golden Muhr Award at the 8th Dubai International Film Festival.Egypt is participating with two films in the main events and they are "Asmaa" by Amr Salama and stars Hend Sabri and Maged El Kedwani and "678" by Mohamed Diab and stars Boshra and Maged El Kedwani.
