Yesterday, the grand hall in Renaissance cinema Isamilia housed the fourth day of the 15th Ismailia International Film Festival for documentaries and short films. But that day was different than other festival days as it featured a lot of surprises during the Egyptian Classics "A look at the past" where the documentaries and short films of some of the great directors were featured:"Watermelon" directed by Mohamed Khan, a short film"A wise man's will for village and education" a short documentary by director Dawood Abd El-Sayed"A prayer inspired by antique Egypt" by Nabiha Lotfy, short documentary"A new life" by Ashraf Fahmy, short documentary"Exchange" by the late Atef El-tyb, short documentary"El-Ammar" by Abd El-Mon3m Othman, short documentary"NO. 6" featuring the late star Ismail Yassin by Salah Abou Seif, short film"Doctor in countryside" by Khairy Bshara, short documentaryall of them from Egypt and first premier.During the daily program, movies "I'm a white mercenary" from Iraq, Iranian "Marble", Turkish "The past is not im memories", Egyptian "Knocking on Doors", Croatian "War Correspondent", Belgian "Arthrovincent" and Astonian "Internal Cracking" were shown.Also featured was the Egyptian film "Boulaq" in the small hall, and the Danish movie "Half a revolution" and British "Overthrowing a dictator Egyptian style" in The Garden cinema.There were also two seminars. The morning one was ran by Ramy Abd El-Razeq discussing the morning films, and the evening one which saw an overwhelming response, with attendance of directors Mohamed Khan, Dawood Abd El-Sayed, Nabiha Lotfy and other film makers featured in the Classics.
