Ryan Reynolds in the remaking of "Highlander"

Star Ryan Reynolds has agreed to headline the Sci-Fi movie "Highlander", originally filmed in 1986 and starred Christopher Lambert and directed by Russel Molkhay, followed by two sequels.The new film is directed by the young Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, scenario by Matt Holloway with Melissa Rosenberg, and the story resembles the original, revolving around the immortal fighter Connor MacLeod who faces off with other immortal warriors in order to obtain a coveted ability known as "The Prize".This feature has been presented before in three movies, a series and a number of novels and animation. On the other hand, there has been no further details on the cast or filming.Ryan stared last in "Safe House" with Star Denzel Washington, which recently hit the cinemas in Egypt.
