Producer of "Karyoka" drops a surprising announcement

After "Karyoka" series was rejected by the Egyptian TV for airing during Ramadan seeing that it discusses the life of a dancer contradicting with the values of the holy month, producer Hazem Shafiq claims it was never offered to the Egyptian TV for it to be rejected to begin with.He said it will be aired in Dream cable network and ART network, and it was only offered to Egyptian TV a long way back when it was still only a screenplay.He added that the series discusses Karyoka's personal life and not professional life, which he sees nothing wrong about airing it in Ramadan anyway, and contains only two numbers in which lead actress Wafaa Amer wears decent dancing suits.
