"Al Shooq" represents Egypt in Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival.

The Arabic Film Festival which is partners with the Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival launches today and will last for a week where a number of Arabic documentaries, short and long feature films will screen in the festival.The Egyptian film "Al Shooq – Lust" is competing for the Best Foreign Film Oscar and will screen on 11 July."Al Shooq" is directed by Khaled El Hagar, written by Sayid Ragab and stars Sawsan Badr, Ruby, Cookie, Mohamed Ramadan and Ahmed Azmi.
