Hatem Ali avoids answering queries about the controversy "Al Farouq".

Recently, the new drama by Hatem Ali which is about the life of the second caliphs Omar Bin El Khattab has faced many arguments whether it is acceptable by Islam or not. Afterwards, the series entitled "Al Farouq Omar" was banned by Al Azhar and by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and they both said that the makers have committed a mistake by making this series. However, MBC, the only channel that is airing it- has released it so we, at , tried to get in touch with its director Hatem Ali and know his opinion about those decisions. To our surprise, Ali didn't answer our questions in regards to this matter and escaped from our direct confrontation about those arguments
