Singers Mohamed Kilany and Ramy Essam finished recording the theme song of the film carrying the same title "Ana Masry – I'm An Egyptian". The song is written by Karim Ismail and composed by Ramy Essam and was recorded by Mostafa Aslan's guitar solos. "Ana Masry" is produced and directed by Karim Ismail in his first directorial experience and its adapted from the real life story of the Egyptian discus thrower Omar El Ghazaly who is participating in the 2012 Olympics which is taking place in London. Shooting the film is currently on pause until Omar finishes his match in the Olympics
