The 12th Arab Film Festival Rotterdam focuses on the freedom of the Syrian people.

The organizing committee of the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam announced that the 12th edition of the festival which is taking place between 20 September and 10 October; will have a special division that focuses on the freedom of the Syrian people through the eyes of Syrian cinema.This event will be part of the festival's program in the Prince Claus Fund Grant that aims for a cultural and knowledge exchange between European countries and Syrian culture.Syrian films about the Syrian revolution and its effect on the Syrian people will be screened during this special event.
