Russell Crowe might be heading to "The Dark Tower".

According to Deadline; Oscar award winner Russell Crowe might replace Javier Bardem in the film adapted from Steven King's comic "The Dark Tower".The script is to be written to the silver screen by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman for "Beautiful Mind" and once finished Warner Bros. will decide if they shall produce the film or not."The Dark Tower" is about the epic adventures of Ronald Deschain who is the last living member of a knightly order of gunslingers and represents humanity's last hope of saving civilization from the man of the dark. Russell shall be appearing in 2013 through another Warner Bros. film about Superman in "Man of Steel" and in 2014 in Darren Aronofsky'"Noah" which is adapted from the biblical story of God's messenger Noah.
