British Actor Robert Pattinson is taking huge steps in his acting career after being a vampire in the Twilight Saga for so many years and then playing a billionaire in the upcoming "Cosmopolis" as he signed up to portray TE Lawrence in the biopic "Queen of the Desert".Directed by German director Werner Herzog who is also writing the script; "Queen of the Desert" revolves around Gertrude Bill, an English writer, adventurer and archaeologist who worked as a political administrator for the British government during World War One in Jordan and Iraq.TE Lawrence, known as Lawrence of Arabia, was a close friend of Bill (to be played by Naomi Watts) who had a major role in the revolutions in the Middle East during that time. One of the most memorable portrayals of TE Lawrence was by Peter O'Toole in the 1962 "Lawrence of Arabia" and was nominated for an Oscar for his performance. Will this role give Pattinson his first Oscar nominates, or was he born to portray just vampires? Only time will tell when shooting starts by the end of the next fall which will be produced by Nick Raslan and Cassian Elwes.
