Nina Simone back to life by Zoe Saldana.

Zoe Saldana has agreed to portray the late singer Nina Simone in the biopic which will be directed by Cynthia Mort "Nina".This project was under preparation for a few years now and is finally taking its first steps into the light by choosing Los Angeles as the setting for shooting and October as the date to start shooting."Nina" is about Nina Simone's life since she was born through her career as a singer-songwriter in the 1950's and her involvement in the civil rights movements in the 1960's until she passed away in 2003. David Oyelowo is also on board as Simone's manager Clifton Henderson and the film is to be produced by Mark Burton, Ben Latham Jones, Stuart Parr and Barnaby Thompson. On the other hand, Zoe is awaiting the release of her new romantic film "The Words" with Bradley Cooper and Olivia Wild and is supposed to hit theaters on 7 September.
