Nadine Labaky, Kate Hudson and more at the Venice International Filmfest opening night.

The opening night of the Venice International Film Festival welcomed many stars from the world like Lebanese director Nadine Labaky, British actress Naomi Watts, French actress and Jury member Laetitia Casta, French DJ Bob Sinclair, Italian actress Isabella Ferrari. The opening film was "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" were Indian director Mira Nair attended with cast American actress Kate Hudson and American actor Live Schreiber. The film revolves around a young ambitious Pakistani man who is in conflict between his wester origins and eastern dreams after the September 11 explosions. The ceremony included the screening of the film and a discussion about it.Jury president American director Michael Mann, and members Marina Abramovic, Samantha Morton and Paolo Paratha also attended.
