Charlize Theron to produce a film about war journalist Marie Colvin.

Producer Basil Iwanyk is in negotiations with Charlize Theron to produce and possible act in a biopic about the war journalist Marie Colvin who died last February in Syria.The Sunday Times journalist, Colvin, covered many wars like the war in Chechnya, East Timor, Kosovo and Sri Lanka were she lost her left eye. Colvin was covering the events of the Syrian revolution when she was killed in the besieged city of Homs. According to Hollywood Reporters; the film is hunting for a script writer to adapt it from a Vanity Fair article entitled "Marie Colvin Private War". It is confirmed however that Peter Lawson is co-producing the biopic.Theron is currently shooting her role in the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road" with Tom Hardy.
