After the great success of "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" that earned 540 million dollars worldwide in 2011; Warner Bros. considered a new part for the famous detective sequel. Jude Law who played the role of Dr. John Watson – Sherlock's friend- in parts 1 and 2 of the film; said that a third part is cooking and writer Drew Pierce signed with Warner Bros. for a new adventure.According to collider.com; Law expressed his happiness to work again with Robert Downey Jr. again but said he is not aware of when they will start shooting. He said that he and Robert can't wait to start working together again even though they are both busy shooting other films; where Robert is currently filming "Iron Man 3" and he agreed on Weiss Anderson's upcoming film "The Grand Budapest Hotel".
