Egyptian director Karim Ismail will resume shooting his upcoming film "Ana Masry – I'm Egyptian" in Estonia in a few days. The film is an Egyptian-European production and is a biopic about the Egyptian Olympic discus thrower Omar Ghazli where he acts in the film as himself. It also stars Tara Emad, Mai Fakhri and Mahmoud El Ayat. Ghazali was the sixth runner up worldwide in 2007 and broke a world record in discus throwing in 2003. Ismail announced in a press conference that this is considered a challenge to take the Egyptian cinema to the world and in a different aspect where European actors are participating in the film like the singer Liis Lemaslu. Also, the distribution company in Europe is negotiating with big actors for special appearance in the film which is due to be released by the end of this year.The first official theme song for the film was just released to satellite channels and is entitled "Ana Masry" by Mohamed Kelany and Ramy Essam. It is written by Karim Ismail, compsed by Yassim El Refaei and Ramy Essam and distributed by Shadi El Saeed.
