Daniel Day Lewis to be honored at Britannia on 7 November.

Great star Daniel Day Lewis is announced to be awarded the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film at this year's BAFTA LA Britannia Awards. The ceremony is taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on 7 November.According to Nigel Lythgoe- Chairman- the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, also known as BAFTa; are thrilled to grant Daniel with this prestigious award that marks his remarkable body of work and that this honor is more than well-deserved. He also added that they are excited to include him among the other esteemed honorees of the evening.The Britannia Awards celebrate the individuals and companies that have dedicated their careers to developing the entertainment arts. Other awards will be presented at a gala dinner to Daniel Craig, Quentin Tarantino, Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Will Wright.
