With Pictures: IMAX opens its first theaters in Egypt.

Sunday 21 October; Misr International Films opened the first theaters of the newest cinema technology in Egypt "IMAX" in Americana Plaza in Sheikh Zayed Road. The opening ceremony welcomed a large number of actors and journalists and the opening film was "The Dark Knight Rises" where 70 minutes of it was shot by IMAX cameras.The ceremony was attended by Syrian actress Joumana Morad, producer Mohamed Hassan Ramzy, producer Marianne Khoury, singer and actor Mostafa Amar, director Kamela Abou Zikry, producer Wael Abdallah, producer Gaby Khoury and actor Ashraf Moselhy.It's worth mentioning that this Cineplex services a wide range of movie lovers in Sheikh Zayed City, 6 October City, Mohandeseen and Zamalek as it is only 10 minutes away from each.
