Egypt denies entry for Iranian Cinema Delegates!

Dr. Ezzat Abou Ouf, president of the 35th CairoInternational Film Festival, stated that the Iranian Cinema Delegates might notbe able to attend due to the denial of their visa by the Egyptian ExternalAffairs Ministry.

Abou Ouf explained that the festival has issued the airline ticketsfor the Iranian members and booked their hotels and he is now trying to solvethis problem so they'll be able to attend.

Moreover; Abou Ouf highly welcomes the Iranian cinematic members dueto the strong position for Iranian cinema and added that it is taught inIranian schools in preparatory and secondary stages.

The 35th edition of the festival is taking place form 27 Novemberto 6 December.
