"Les Miserables" might be Oscar trophies snatcher according to critics.

In itsprivate screening for a selective number of critics at Lincoln Center in NewYork; Tom Hooper's "Les Misrables" received a 10 minute stand ovationafter it was finished.

Accordingto Hollywood Reporters, the Oscar winning director was grateful to his cast andcrew and to Victor Hugo, author of "Les Miserables".

Theclassic book was adapted by many films before; but Hooper's musical versionmight gain a large number of Oscars in Academy Awards ceremony which is takingplace in February 2013 according to the critics who attended the screening.

Themusical stars Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfriend, SachaBaron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Samantha Parker and Eddie Redmayne.
