Hollywood star and the one and only Robert DeNiro expressed his sincere admiration for a number of young actors during hisinterview with the British Guardian.

De Niro said that actors like Matt Damon,Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence inspire him in his career. He addedthat he extremely respects them and their work.

The "Goodfellas" star said he reallyadmires Daniel Day Lewis and said he is wonderful. Then he spoke about "TheHunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence and said she is talented and has agreat energy on the set. De Niro has worked with Lawrence in "SilverLinings Playbook" with Bradley Cooper.

Lawrence has lately spoke about her experiencewith De Niro in the film and said he is not as intimidating as she thought hewould be. She added that he was very supportive while shooting the film andthat he is easy to work with.

This is not the first time that De Niropraises young actors as he did previously in the symposium held parallel to DohaTribeca Film Festival which ended on Saturday where he also announced that hehas no intentions to retire any time soon.

De Niro is now busy shooting his scenes in"Las Vegas" with Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline.
