Crystal and Hathaway offer Oscars advice to Seth MacFarlane.

To be held on 24 February2013; the 85th Academy Awards will be hosted by director SethMacFarlane and the bear from his own film “Ted”. Hollywood stars who hosted theOscars before started sharing their experience with MacFarlane and giving himadvice about the show.

Billy Crystal, whohosted the Oscars nine whopping times last was last year, said that choosingMacFarlane was interesting and he believes that he will do well as he has highpotential and asked him to relax and enjoy doing it.

Actress Ann Hathaway,how hosted the Oscars with James France two years ago, also advised MacFarlaneduring an interview with Entertainment Weekly and told him to not only focus onthe stars in the audience but to also pay attention to the viewers from homeand balance between both. Hathaway-to many critics- was not convincing in herperformance and was highly criticized by international media.
