The Cinematic Culture Center will be hosting, with the National Center for Cinema, screenings of documentary films throughout the month of January at the Cinema Culture Center's office in downtown Cairo. Screenings will begin at 7 pm every Wednesday night.
"Turath Al-Insaneyya" (Heritage of Humanity), directed by Saad Nadim, will be shown on Wednesday January 9. Nagy Riyadh's "Moabd Al-Karnak" (Temple of Karnak) and "Rehla Al-A'ila Al-Moqadsa" (Journey of the Holy Family) will be screened on January 16.
The center is also offering special screenings of films about the January 25 uprising, among them are "Ana Wal Agenda" (The Agenda and Me) and "Al-Sharea Lena" (The Street Is Ours) from director Neveen Shalaby, which will be screened on January 23. "18 Days in Egypt" from Ahmed Salah and "Ayoun al-Horeyya, Sharea al-Moot" (Eyes of Freedom, Street of Death) from directors Ahmed Salah and Ramadan Salah will be screened on January 30.
