Director Seth MacFarlane and Emma Watson announced the Oscar nominations today, putting to rest weeks of anxious speculation. The ceremony will take place next month on February 24. Seth MacFarlane, creator of "Family Guy," will be hosting. Save for a few exceptions, the nominations pretty evenly matched up with critics' expectations.
