managedto obtain a group of photos that actor Hisham Abdul Hamid saved in his personalarchive portraying as the late singer Abdel Halim Hafez. A close friend fromHesham revealed those photos were taken after offering the role of Abdel Halimin the last biopic about his life “Halim” but is unaware of the reason that itwent to the late actor Ahmad Zaki instead.
Also, another group ofphotos with Hesham portraying as King Farouq was spread and it’s said that hewill be portraying him in an upcoming biopic about the last Egyptian king.
It’s worth mentioningthat Hesham was complimented by the U.S. congress for his silent film entitled “La– No” which is about the Egyptian revolution that resulted in the departure ofHosni Mobarak and his regime. Hesham was lead actor in “La” and was alsodirected and produced by him and is currently showing in the US and Europe andwill be released soon in Cairo and Beirut.
