A large number ofstars from Egypt and the Arabic world attended the awarding ceremony for the “DearGuest” Festival where many where honored like Elham Shahin, Yousef Shabaan andjournalist Amal Fahmi.

Great actor Farouq ElFeshawi was also honored for his role in “Shams El Ansary” next to Mahmoud ElGendy for his role in “Raqam Maghoul” and Sawsan Bader for her role in “KhormEbra”.

The honoring awardswere also given to Ragaa El Gedawy for her role in “Sharbat Loz”, Tareq Lotfifor his outstanding performance in “Maa Sabq Al Esrar”, Fadia Abdel Ghani in “TarafTalet”, Salwa Khattab in “Vertigo”, Ahmed Flokas in “Bab El Khalq”, Dina Foadin “Khotout Hamra” , Nedal El Shafei in “Ferqet Nagi Atallah”, Rogina andAbeeri Sabri for their roles in “””, Ola Ghanem in “Al Zogah Al Rabaa”, and TVhost Irahim Hegazi for his program “Daerat Al Dou” and party organizer WalidMansour.

The results of the viewers’votes were also announced as they named Ahmed El Saqa as Best Actor for hisrole in “Khotout Hamra”, Ghada Abdel Razeq Best Actress for her role in “MaaSabq Al Esrar” and Samir Ghanem as Best Actor in a Comedy.

The rising actorsRamez Amir received Best Actor and Aiten Amer received Best Actress and marriedcouple Amr Adib and Lamis El Hadidi received Best TV hosts for each of their separateprograms were Best Talk Show went to Amr Adib’s “Al Qahera Al Yowm”.

Best Director went toMohamed Sami for “Maa Sabq Al Esrar” which also received the Best Series award.

Ahmed Shubeir receivedBest Host for a Sports show award and Osama Muneir was named Best Male Radioshow host while Nardine Farag received the Best Female Radio Show host award.

The dynamic teambehind “Taraf Talet” received the Best Ensemble award, lead actor Amir Karara receivedan Exceptional Performance Award and its song received the Best Soundtrack whichwas performed by to Mohamed Adaweya. Best Comedy show was Ramez Galal’s “RamezTalaab El Sahraa” and Best TV Show was Riham Saeed’s “Sabay El Khair”.

As for satellitechannels; Al Nahar Drama received Best Drama Channel, Al Nahar received BestChannel, Mazzika was named Best Musical Channel, Mega FM is Best Radio Stationand Modern Sports is Best Sports Channel.

The silver screenawards went to Ahmed Ezz as Best Actor, Menna Shalaby as Best Actress, MohamedHeneidi as Best Actor in a Comedy, Yassmin Abdel Aziz as Best Actress in aComedy, Yosra El Lozy as Best Rising Star, Sandra Nashaat as Best Director,Wael Abdalla as Best Screenwriter and “Al Maslaha” as Best Picture.
