Statistically speaking, the Baltimore Ravens won yesterday's Super Bowl XLVII, the annual football championship event around which the two football leagues' seasons (as well as American advertising companies) revolve. But, we all know who really won: Beyoncé. Her knockout, 14-minute performance was everything it promised to be and she did not disappoint.

Rumors of a Destiny's Child reunion as well as Beyoncé's "lip syncing" scandal at Obama's second inauguration generated a lot of hype around this performance. She took to the stage with all the confidence in the world, and the 31-year-old diva performed some of her top hits like "Baby Boy" and "Crazy in Love." To many viewers' delight, she brought Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams on stage to perform her hit "Single Ladies," reuniting the group for the first time since 2006.

Beyoncé recently caught some flack when news surfaced that she had sung over a pre-recorded track at American President Obama's second inaugural ceremony. Her rendition of the national anthem was breathtaking, and when the news broke, she was criticized harshly for not singing live. Aretha Franklin and many others came to her defense. Earlier this week, at a pre-Super Bowl press conference, Beyoncé answered her critics (through song) by performing the national anthem live. All seems to be forgiven now. Check out the video above!
