In its week premiere, the romantic horror film"Warm Bodies" made 20 million dollars and started its way in the boxoffice on the top. The film is directedby Jonathan Levin and stars Teresa Palmer, John Malkovich and Nicholas Holt andis currently showing in Egyptian cinemas. "Warm Bodies" is the onlyfilm that crossed the 10 million dollar weekly revenue this week which shows aslow cinematic industry nowadays.
Going down to second place is "Hansel&Gretel: Witch Hunters" which added 9.2 million dollars to its grossto make a total of 34.4 million after two weeks. The independent film with just21 million dollars of a budget "Silver Linings Playbook" which hasreceived 8 Oscar nominates went up to third place with 8.1 million in its 12thweek in cinemas and has a total gross so far of 80.3 million dollars.
"Mama" is another horror film goingdown this week as it reached fourth place with 6.7 million and "Zero DarkThirty" also went down from third place to the fifth with 5.3 milliondollars.
Landing in sixth place is the new comer"Bullet to the Head" which collected to its producers Warner Bros. adisappointing 4.5 million dollars where everyone was betting on Sylvester Stalloneto bring on more cash!
The action "Parker" completes itsway down the box office to seventh place with 3.2 million dollars.
And going two steps down from sixth place toeighth is "Django Unchained" which added 3 million to its total grossto make it 150.9 million after six weeks in theaters.
"Lincoln" is still competing in the highestrevenue top ten even though it's been in cinemas for 13 weeks and made 2.4million dollars this week landing in ninth place and "Les Miserables"comes in tenth in its sixth week in theaters and has a total gross so far of141.4 million.
