Ragheb Alama Will Not Respond to Melhem Barakat Attacks

Lebanese singer Melhem Barakat is known among his fellow singers to continuously attack and criticize them in public. His latest was his resentment of a large number of Lebanese singers who sing in Egyptian dialect, saying that Egypt has never contributed in the success of any Lebanese singer. Some of those being attacked by Barakat are Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Elissa and Wael Jassar who described him as a traitor to Lebanese music and that he never liked him ever!

Most singers always choose to ignore the attacks, Ragheb Alama however commented in a tweet and said:"Melhem Barakat, I will not reply back. I don't think that Nancy Ajram will also reply but you need to know that a true artist is the one capable of singing indifferent dialects which makes him unique."
