Photos: Cast of "Nazareya Amety" Celebrates Launch of Production

The on-screen family of "Nazareya Amety" celebrated the launch of production of their new film this past Wednesday in front of journalists and press in a big party hosted by New Century. The first scenes brought together stars Horeya Farghaly, Lebleba and the young Enass Kamel. It is directed by Akram Farid.

Young actor Hassan El Raddad was also there, though he hasn't had any scenes to shoot yet. El Raddad told press that the film would be different in nature from the comedy of his previous film "El Anisa Mamie" (Miss Mamie) which came out over a month ago, also mentioning that his character's development in the film attracted him to the role and that he's spent a lot of time recently preparing for it.

The big star Lebleba also was there, in a bright red outfit for Valentine's Day no doubt. In the film, she plays the title role of the Aunt. She expressed her excitement to work with satirical writer Omar Taher, who penned the script.

"Nazareya Amety" continues a history of cooperation between a number of people involved in the film: New Century has backed Horeya Farghaly before with "Mosawer 'Ateel," Lebleba has worked with director Akram Farid and New Century before on "A'elat Micky," and Farid previously cooperated with New Century on his films "Samy Oxyed El Carboon" and "Mr. and Mrs. Eweys."
