Adele Denies Scolding Chris Brown at the Grammys

News outlets got a little creative when a photo came out of an animated conversation between British songstress Adele and R&B singer Chris Brown at the 55th Grammy Awards last Sunday.

A number of outlets speculated that Adele was yelling at Brown for not giving fellow artist Frank Ocean a standing ovation when he beat out Brown in the Urban Contemporary Album category. Adele tweeted "Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!"

Brown then Tweeted back appreciatively "Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele. I heard your words and thats all that matters. Thank u for speaking the truth."

Brown just got back together with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who he famously assaulted after a Grammys party in 2009. He is still on probation for it, though Rihanna has forgiven him and is giving him another chance.
