The great Mahmoud Abdel Aziz has decided to once again return to the silver screen for his new film "Al Ostaz." His company, the Egypt Arts Group, will be producing the film. It'll be his big return to film since taking a four-year hiatus following his 2009 film "Ibrahim Al Abyad."
The action-comedy "El Ostaz" revolves around a mafia boss and his relationships with his kids. A number of bright young stars have also decided to star in the film, though final contracts will only be signed once the production company settles on a director. The film is expected to come out this summer.
Abdel Aziz last appeared on the show "Bab el Khalq," which came out last Ramadan season. Also on the horizon for Abdel Aziz is the 2013 Dubai Film Festival, where he'll be honored with a lifetime achievement award. The festival runs from December 6 to 14, 2013.
