Ang Lee won last night's Best Director Oscar for "Life of Pi." Jennifer Lawrence, as expected, was crowned Best Actress for "Silver Linings Playbook." She also managed to fall, slowly, on the stairs leading up to the stage, but made up for it in her humble speech. And also as expected, Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for his remarkable portrayal of the American wartime president in "Lincoln."
And in a surprise cameo, First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama showed up to co-present the Best Picture award alongside Jack Nicholson. FLOTUS and Jack Torrance tag-teaming the Oscars. What a night.
