Sarah Jessica Parker has apparently grown a bone in her foot that doesn't belong there. She's best known for playing the confident and fashion-forward sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw on the iconic show, "Sex and the City." And she spent every season running around New York City in some of the world's most expensive high-heeled shoes.
Parker told Net-A-Porter's magazine, "for 10 or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off. I wore beautiful shoes, some better made than others, and never complained."
The phrase beauty is pain comes to mind. She told the magazine, "I went to a foot doctor and he said, 'Your foot does things it shouldn't be able to do. That bone there... you've created that bone. It doesn't belong there."
The 47-year-old mother of three (with longtime partner Matthew Broderick) reflects on her career catching up with her: "it's sad, because my feet took me all over the world, but eventually they were like, 'You know what, we're really tired, can you stop?"
