Release of Steve Jobs Biopic Starring Ashton Kutcher Delayed

News of Ashton Kutcher playing Steve Jobs in a biopic about the late Apple co-founder and inventor, who died from cancer on October 5, 2011, was met with tepid anticipation. Anxieties were eased a bit when a split portrait shot of Kutcher as Jobs and Jobs himself was released. The resemblance is uncanny.

The film was due to come out April 19, but it turns out Apple devotees will have to wait a bit longer for the release. According to The Hollywood Reporter, distributor Open Roads Films has delayed the release in order to "create a better marketing window." The new release date has not yet been announced.

The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival. EW called it a "starkly honest portrait." The site also said it "leaves you wanting more," and this couldn't be more true after the delay.
