U.N. Goodwill Ambassador and actress Angelina Jolie has opened an all-girls school Afghanistan. The school, in a village outside of Kabul, will be attended by 200 to 300 primary-grade students in an area with a high refugee population, according to E! News. Proceeds from Jolie's jewelry collection will go to funding the school.

Jolie's longtime business partner and jeweler Robert Procop said, "the beauty of these creations is matched by the beauty of spirit behind Angelina's most heartfelt mission - to empower children in crisis."

The actress herself said, "beyond enjoying the artistic satisfaction of designing these jewels, we are inspired by knowing our work is also serving the mutual goal of providing for children in need."

The globally-minded Jolie-Pitt family continue to burst their own Hollywood bubble, and their efforts are inspiring.
