" Iron Man 3" producers decided to push back the opening of the highly anticipated film in London, as it was scheduled to premiere this Wednesday. The funeral of the late Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister of the U.K. from 1979 to 1990, will now take place on Wednesday. Concerns over traffic jams and possible complications of having two major events on one day prompted the decision.
Thatcher, whose conservative economic policies have a mixed legacy to say the least, will be sent off in a full-blown, massive procession to be attended by world leaders, including U.S. President Barack Obama.
"Iron Man 3" will now open on April 18 in the U.K., and on May 3 in the U.S. Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. resume their roles in the box office busting franchise.
