Reese Witherspoon, 37, and her husband Jim Toth were arrested last Friday in Atlanta. Following Toth's DUI, the usually courteous and graceful actress was arrested for disorderly conduct. She's put out an apology, saying she had "one drink too many" and is "deeply embarrassed about the things I said."
Among the things that got her in trouble were telling the officer, "Do you know my name? You're about to find out who I am... you are going to be on national news." According to the police report, after her husband was arrested for drinking under the influence, she was hanging out the window and questioning if the officer was a real police officer. The couple was released on bond around 3 AM on Friday, and had their court date yesterday.
Two after the arrest, Witherspoon attended her " Mud" premiere in New York, walking the red carpet with co-star Matthew McConaughey.
