" Before Midnight" is being screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. It's the third of its kind starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as the star-crossed international lovers who meet, in real time, serendipitously nine years apart in " Before Sunrise" (1995) and " Before Sunset" (2004). Both films were critically acclaimed, and achieved commercial success, making "Before Midnight" one of the most highly anticipated films of 2013.
In 2005, Delpy and Hawke were nominated, along with the film's director and writer Richard Linklater, for an Oscar for best adapted screenplay.
The 2013 installment takes place in Greece. The Tribeca festival runs until April 28.
