Lindsay Lohan's summer plans aren't your typical 26-year-old's: she'll be finishing up her umpteenth stint in rehab at the Betty Ford Center, after which she'll jet off to Italy to attend the Venice Film Festival. Her film "The Canyons" will be screened there, according to a recent tweet.
The film, described as an "erotic thriller," also stars a porn star named James Deen, and was rejected from Sundance and South by Southwest (SXSW) this past year, UK's E! Online reports.
This most recent three-month rehab stint was court-ordered, though it was a welcomed mandate for the star herself, who a few months ago told David Letterman on his late night talk show she was grateful and was looking forward to taking time for herself.
Hopefully things will turn around for Lindsay. A source recently told E! News that the once-Disney child star is "doing well" at the rehab center in Rancho Mirage, California. The Venice Film Festival begins on August 28th.
