Let the Madness Begin: Kim and Kanye Welcome Baby Girl

Reality TV queen Kim Kardashian became a new mother this weekend, thus initiating what will probably be the most highly publicized and scrutinized celebrity infancy maybe ever. Kim and rapper-producer-ego-tripper Kanye West welcomed the baby girl on Saturday. While no name has leaked yet, the gender of the baby was revealed on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," despite the couple's initial desire to keep it a secret.

The new parents were showered with congratulations via Twitter. Sister Khloe wrote, "I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all the love."
It must have been extra sweet for West, who's first Father's Day (June 16 in the United States) comes a day after the birth of his first child. He's also soon to drop his sixth studio album, the humbly titled "Yeezus," which comes out on June 18th.
Kim recently had a party celebrating the arrival of the baby in Beverly Hills, California. A smattering of her famous friends attended, including former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, Nicole Richie, and of course Kim's mother, matriarch of the clan, Kris Jenner.
