Actors Syndicate to Lead March from Culture Ministry to Tahrir

Ashraf Abdel Ghaffour has confirmed to that a number of actors have agreed to begin a march today around 4PM in support of Tamarod (Rebellion) that will be taking place nationwide urging President Mohamed Morsi to step down and hold early elections.

Ghaffour also added that the march would begin at the Culture Ministry, site of a weeks-long sit-in against the minister Alaa Abdel Aziz, would pass the Egyptian Opera House then head to Tahrir Square.

The Actors Syndicate itself has demanded that the resignation of theCulture Minister be counted among Tamarod's demands. Artists and intellectuals began a sit-in at the ministry nearly three weeks ago demanding the dismissal of the Brotherhood's Abdel Aziz, and have now joined in calls for the removal of the Brotherhood regime entirely.
