Ahmed Falawkas:I did not exaggerate the Port Said Accent in "Al Araf"

The actor Ahmed Falawkas said that he's currently preparing for a new movie where he plays the leading role. Details will be set after Eid as sessions are held between him and the production company. Falawkas refused to reveal anything about the movie until the contract is officially signed.

About his part in the show “ Al Araaf ” where he played a funny, young con-artist character from port said staring the great artist Adel Imam Falawkas said that this is considered as a new experience for him and that it added a lot to him both artistically and publicly.

Falawkas refused what has been said about the exaggeration in the Port-Saidi accent, Stressing that he presented the accent as it is. He confirmed that he followed the instructions of the accent coach, besides the fact that he met people from Port-Said and they speak in the same way. He added that on the contrary the character was true and close to the people.

“ Al Araaf” is starring Adel Imam, Sherif Ramzy, Mohamed Al Shakankeery and Rasha Mahdy. The show is written by Youssef Maaty and directed by Ramy Imam.
