Dalia El Behery: I will not work with Angham again

The actress Dalia El Behery said yesterday that she doesn't want to work with Angham once again, and that after the tensions they experienced during filming the TV drama “Men Ghamdet Ein.” That was during the interview she had with show host Nishan on the TV program “Ana Wel Assal 2” . Dalia said that the chemistry between the two of them was not good, that's why she'll wouldn't want to work with her again . She also pointed that Angham has no relation with the cast titles issue in the show intro, elaborating that it was written in her contract with the production company that her name would appear at the beginning of the intro and that the production company is responsible for the breach of contract. Dalia greeted Angham on air, wishing her and her family happy Eid.

Dalia spoke about her new show “ Al Qasirat” (Minors), expressing that she always cares about presenting works that carries a moral message. She considered her show as a slap on the face of the Muslim brotherhood political regime, assuring that she did not see the logic of a parliament deputy's proposal to enact a new law allowing marriage to 9-years-old girls while nobody discussed the important issues for all citizens. Dalia also confirmed her happiness with the part and the courage the show has in discussing a sensitive subject as marriage to under-aged girls. She saluted the crew of the show and above all the big star Mahmoud El Saadany.

About her show “Ahlam Mashbouha” (Suspicious Dreams), which was postponed more than once, she said the delay was due to the producer, who signed contracts with her many times and prevented her from doing other projects, which pushed her to file a lawsuit against him.

Aside from this, Dalia spoke about her personal life, saying that she separated from her husband four months ago, refusing to reveal the reasons behind the separation. She only said that separation was not due to another woman. Dalia assured that her relationship with him is good and that she respects him, adding that whatever happens, he's still the father of her only child. She talked about her first marriage, stressing that it was not a love story and that she got married 19 days after first knowing her husband. Dalia mentioned her first daughter from her first marriage, pointing that she died due to a rare disease. She added that she did not wish for her to live for this moment because she knows the stages of this disease and that she would be suffering sooner or later.

Nishan apologized for a technical error that occurred during the announcement of the episode of Dalia on LBC channel, including Angham's picture instead of hers, and said he appreciated her understanding.

Otherwise, Dalia talked about the reign of the Muslim brotherhood, saying that it was a very difficult period. She stated that the Brotherhood affected art and artists very negatively, adding that it was like a nightmare from which the nation woke up from on the 30th of June.
