Yesterday, film director, Amr Salama, tweeted: “Remember the names of those who said the truth and had been cursed by both parties; you'll need them when the blood fills the streets and you find no one to wipe it up.” The tweet called for the screenwriter and poet, Medhat El Adl, to reply with: “Trembling hands do not preserve national security. If we agree that Bin Laden is a terrorist, not a hero, those people are his followers, and when someone burns your house, you do not ask him if he's hungry or not.”

To this Salama replied: “I do not disagree. I would fight whoever burns my house, but I think we are helping him to burn the house down. This debate will not fit in the ‘mentions”. He then added: “With all my respect to you, let our disagreement be in point of views. Time may prove me wrong, and believe me, I hope so.” To which ElAdl answered: “Greetings and respect. We shall meet by God's will.”
