On his Twitter account, singer Hamza Namira replied to the criticism he has received lately for his support of the Brotherhood's marches and describing the 30th of June as a military coup against the legitimate power. He upheld his belief that speaking the truth always has had a price when he tweeted: “ I know very well that saying the truth has a price... and the price was never kisses and puppets thrown in the air.”
Namira has previously tweeted: “ What kind of country do we live in? What kind of injustice is this that we see and cannot change or even express objection to? Only God knows how depressed I am.”
