Artist Amr Mahmoud Yasin expressed his disgust with what he has witnessed on Egyptian streets in terms of terrorist violence and peaceful citizens being terrorized and targeted by the Muslim Brotherhood in an attempt to put pressure on the current government.
The actor condemned the actions of the Brotherhood, asking how they can believe that acts like this will bring about results in their favor? He said their actions will have the opposite effect, and will increase the hatred for them in the street, stating that yesterday he witnessed the events in Mohandiseen when gunmen on an apartment complex rooftop fired live rounds at a military convoy on Batal Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street, wounding one citizen. He said what he saw is more and more resembling a war, and asserted that no matter what the Brotherhood does, they cannot turn back time.
Meanwhile, Yasin just finished shooting his new film "Zigzag" in which he co-stars with Mohamed Nagaty, Reem el Baroudy. The film is supposed to come out this Eid el Adha, after its release was delayed more than once due to the ongoing political crisis.
