Photos: Scarlett Johansson Adds Some Hollywood Glamour to Venice

American actress Scarlett Johansson added a Hollywood glamor to Venice yesterday as she made her first appearance at the premiere of her movie “Under The Skin,” competing in the Venice Film Festival.

Despite the negative feedback the movie received, Johansson was able to grab the attendees' attention in both her morning appearance at the photo-call that followed the movie press conference, and the night appearance in her elegant Versace black gown.

“ Under The Skin” is part of the official contest in Venice, competing with nineteen other movies for the Golden Lion Award. Johansson plays the role of an alien in human form who is on a journey through Scotland.
