Tamer Habib: Taking a Break from Writing to Process Events in Egypt

Screenwriter Tamer Habib denied starting to write a new movie for Egyptian actress Yosra. He said that he's not writing any works currently and that he's in a state of reevaluation, adding that all he has now is some abstract ideas with no clear destiny yet.

Habib said in an exclusive statement to that he had already decided to take a break following the airing of his drama series “Nekdeb Law Olna Mabenhebesh” last Ramadan. He noted that he's still processing what's politically happening in Egypt and that he's optimistic and certain that Egypt will pass through this turbulent phase soon and recover.

In other news, Habib said that the project of writing a drama series for the celebrity couple Ahmed Helmy and Mona Zaki is still underway, adding that he doesn't expect it to be done by next season as it needs more time.
